Hello from the 17th century...

So the family and I have been living without heat and electricity for the last 36+ hours.

The ice storm in North Central Mass. has wreaked havoc with electrical lines and we have been living in the 17th century since late Thursday night.

Luckily no limbs have damaged cars or our house.

We are now in Chicopee showering and warming....according to the electric department we won't be back in the 21st century till Monday the earliest more likely Tuesday.

Fun, fun fun!!!

Wonderful...

Prescient...

18th Century American Philosophy:

"He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself."
-Thomas Paine for his pamphlet "Common Sense"

21st Century American Philosophy:

"Bring'em on!" - George W. Bush

and its fruits....

18th Century American Philosophy:

"He who is the author of a war lets loose the whole contagion of hell and opens a vein that bleeds a nation to death."

-Thomas Paine for the pamphlet "Common Sense"

21st Century American Philosophy:

"But the risk of doing nothing, the risk of the security of this country being jeopardized at the hands of a madman with weapons of mass destruction far exceeds the risks of any action we may be forced to take."

- George W. Bush, President Meets with National Economic Council, White House (2/25/2003).

and it's fruits....

States Bear Billions in Iraq War Costs Total Economic Costs of the Iraq War 2003-2017

Decide for yourself which version of America you would live in.
