REAL evil on Earth #1

Hello All!

In effort to make this blog a public service in addition to the soap box it is for my polemics (tongue firmly in cheek). I've decided to call attention to what I think are the REAL sources and/or evidences of EVIL in our world. Without further ado I give to you the first installment of:

REAL Evil on Earth!
episode #1
This agency of evil on Earth needs to be stopped! This is my list of evidence of evil and malcontent:

  • This corporate behemoth wants to be a part of everything in your life very soon you will drive down to the DunkinHomeDepotWalmart to buy your fat laden dough-nuts, your $.99/100 dry wall screws and your corn syrup laden ketchup.

  • This company STILL uses Styrofoam cups! Are they living in the 70's? Even McDonald's stopped using foam boxes to enclose their food (term used loosely) a long time ago.

  • The liquid that fills those Styrofoam cups with their ubiquitous logo is NOT, I repeat NOT coffee. I don't know what constitutes that horrible bitter rancid brown liquid but it has never been part of a coffee bean. To bill this substance as coffee is a bald-faced lie and further erodes America's standing in the world.

  • Get this tid-bit to your advertising agency: Inform the clientèle that it is E-S-PRESSO NOT E-X-PRESSO.

  • Your cutesy television ads that have the temerity to suggest that Dunkin' Donuts is somehow a replacement for Starbucks are annoying and ignorant. You sell products as different as McDonalds versus Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! Don't pretend otherwise.
There you have it! Evidence of REAL evil on Earth perpetrated by Satan's creation, Dunkin' Donuts.

Bueller...? Bueller...?!

Sure you can criticize evolutionary theory. That's how knowledge is expanded and the theory becomes more refined. However you are going to have to bring something to the table other than 'God done it' or hackneyed and convoluted refutations of evolution written by men without expertise in biology or organic chemistry and with political axes to grind a la Dembski and Meyers.

And FYI Mr. Stein and Mr. Mathis and all you yahoos at the 'DISCO' institute...

Darwinism => Atheism => Racism => Nazism => Holocaust

Is as STUPID and INANE an argument as can possibly be made!

If that's your best 'Big Science' has NOTHING to worry about.

...doubt is a good thing.

A couple of you did see through my little ruse yesterday. In all honesty the conclusions that I listed yesterday are in fact issues that have been satisfactorily answered, (in my opinion Jason!), through naturalistic means. (Sorry if I let the air out that balloon, Deb) .

If you are interested, here are good places to begin answering the conclusions I addressed:

1. http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CC/CC200.html

2. http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CC/CC300.html

3. http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CD/CD010.html

4. http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CE/CE001.html

5. http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CI/CI301.html

These are only a beginning...by all means continue to read and research!

HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!

Benefit of the doubt...

I've been doing some reading lately. I think I may have been wrong on some of the things I accepted as true with out adequately checking the facts. I have accepted naturalistic scientific theories based upon some suppositions that aren't entirely substantiated. After some careful contemplation and substantial research I have come to the following conclusions:

1. There are no transitional fossils. Evolution predicts a continuum between each fossil organism and its ancestors. Instead, we see systematic gaps in the fossil record.

2. Complex life forms appear suddenly in the Cambrian explosion, with no ancestral fossils.

3. Radiometric dating gives unreliable results.

4. The radioactive decay of several elements produces helium, which migrates to the atmosphere. There is too little helium in the atmosphere to account for the amount that would have been produced in 4.5 billion years. Escape of helium into space is not sufficient to account for the lack.

5. The cosmos is fine-tuned to permit human life. If any of several fundamental constants were only slightly different, life would be impossible.

These conclusions have led me to the accept that I will have to completely reevaluate my world view. I hope you will all be patient with me as I re-work my thoughts and what I accept as true!

Thanks,
Robert
